Identity and Self Discovery

Public perception is important not only in the art space, but often just to people themselves. I am beginning to notice that the way I am perceived is becoming increasingly important to me and is affecting my person more than I would like it to. Talking with friends is important, they remind you of what and who you are, but their interpretation of how you think you present yourself may also be damaging. They tell you truths you did not ever dream of discovering. I say this on here as it has been eye opening to see how works I have created can be perceived in a similar fashion. Further developments will be posted, I have a feeling this blog will be useful in tracking my thoughts to use in later art projects.
