Work In Profess for Value Simulation: Mood Boards

- For this upcoming simulation project, I have a couple different ideas for what I'd like to create as you can see from the idea board above this text. Ever since I had been introduced to the blender software and heard about any projects pertaining to it, I had always seen blender tutorials on youtube for how to create miniature simple versions of real environments such as a kitchen scene or a bedroom scene. I've been waiting for an opportunity to create these charming little scenes myself ever since, and with this project I believe it would be a great time to try and incorporate some of those same elements of small environments into a simulation like the ones we were introduced with in class.

- For this project I really want to stick with a theme of foods or little kitchen items as I think it could prove to be a simple yet effective way of portraying the scale of the items as well as a refined sense of skill by putting as much effort on a small canvas as possible. What I mean by this is by having a small surface area to work on in the case of creating the small collection of foods like the image below:

- These small builds leave more room for the detail put into the models to really stand out and shine individually. Not only will this project lend in to the cohesiveness that these little items have due to their stylization and scale, but it will also be easy to figure out how to animate so many little items in a scene using common items we interact with everyday. In a kitchen scene for example we can give all of these little items a lot of personality, such as a little carrot rolling around on a cutting board like rounded food tend to do on a flat surface, or perhaps steam emitting from a pot on the stove, etc. Other potential moving parts include the addition of lights in a scene flickering, or even a fan that could be implemented into the scene rotating its fan blades above the scene. These subtle details add so much life to scenes especially when recreating real environments like a kitchen that we all take in every day but never stop to really appreciate. In this project I hope to remind viewers of all the little moving parts that play a heavy role on our days that often get overlooked.
